As part of the Port Stanley-St. Thomas-London metropolitan area, Port Stanley is, at the most, minutes away from any of the cultural amenities ordinarily found in a metropolitan area of approximately half a million people. Its location midway between Detroit-Windsor and Toronto makes it an ideal jumping-off point for day or evening entertainment in either of those metropolitan centres.
